Where Our High School Graduates Are Going

observer-logo-smallFrom 1999 – 2009, 94 students graduated from Washington Island School, with a 99% graduation rate. Fifty-two students entered four-year colleges or universities, with 27 students attending two-year technical colleges or other post-secondary programs. Six Washington Island graduates went into the military, with eight students directly entering the work force.

A survey will be sent out from the Five-Year Planning Committee to past graduates, with additional information about these students’ plans made available from that survey.

This year all five seniors are going on to higher education. Zachary Young will attend U.W. Stevens Point; Luc Rose will be attending Marian University; Tatum Remke will be at U.W. Stevens Point; Alyssa Mann is going to Ripon College; and Nathan Andersen will attend Fox Valley Technical College.
