Packers-Bears Betting Fun
The Packer-Bears playoff game brought about some betting fun on the Island. Bear fans Lou Munao and Jim Morris (wearing cheeseheads) lost their bets with Packer fans Orion Mann and Janet Hanlin. According to Janet, she and Jim made the same bet as Lou and Orion, without even knowing it, and the Manns very graciously arranged for these two Bear fans to PACK groceries on Super Bowl Sunday! The Observer was told that more people came to see them than Santa at Christmas time!
